This is the third part of Peter Lee’s Legitimate Home Internet Business - Link Building Strategy Series Posts.

If you spend 4 hours a day doing SEO and follow a proven SEO Link Building Strategy, you should do well in 6 to 18 months at the engines

1. Quantity or Quality Better?
Quality links are better of course. I stumbled upon this by accident when I set up my new blog last year and I had the intuition to focus solely on comprising of only .edu sites and at least PR4 blogs and ensured relevancy using my BlogComment Demon software to locate them. Because the next PR update then was December/January, I had only about 6 weeks to obtain these . I didn’t get that many, just about 30 but they were of very high quality and high PR links. The result of my accidental experiment: My Blog moved from PR0 to PR2. Lots of people have argued that pagerank is not important and their business and income have not suffered with a lower rank. But for the purpose of building you will soon see that pagerank does matter and is one of the key ingredients to help you rank well in search engines.

But hypothetically, what if you had 20000 PR0 links? Would you outrank someone who has say 500 ? Nobody really knows Google’s back link algorithm to be able to answer this question. But my guess is that in this example, quantity could outrank the quality but with a proviso that the 20000 PR0 links had been obtained legitimately and over a reasonable period of time. I like to think that the average marketer would not be able to get such quantity if he is just starting out in his Legitimate Home Internet Business.

Here is How to participate:

* Copy the entire text between the specified lines.

One caution is do not do more than one review each so as to restrict to a maximum of 30 links to a page. This is very important as we do not want Google to deem it as spam and get into trouble. We ask for your co-operation.

Also make sure that all blogs and anchor texts mentioned in the Site Reviewed area have ‘live link’ to their blogs.

Now it’s your turn to join the carousel and please add reviews to the sites you like. Once you have provided review about the site – let them know, and perhaps they will join the carousel. You will be surprised how fast your rank will grow and this time so will the Google Page Ranking. It is your chance to get viral traffic to your blog.
